This step involves adding in two menus: 

1. Header menu

2. Footer menu

The footer menu will show up later when we edit our theme, but the header menu will be visible from the start.

How to Add Menus

1. Start out by clicking on Online Store on the left-hand side of the page.

2. On the submenu, click Navigation.

3. Click Footer Menu underneath the title dropdown box.

4. Click Add Menu Item.

5. Type in ‘Home’ as the menu name. Then for the link, select ‘Homepage’.

6. Click ‘Add’.

7. Click Add Menu Item again, then type in ‘Account Login’ as the menu name. Then for the link, paste in your Shopify URL then add ‘/account/login’. When you’ve done this, click Add.

8. Click Add Menu Item again, then type in ‘Cart’ as the menu name. Then for the link, paste in your Shopify URL then add ‘/cart’. When you’ve done this, click Add.

9. Click Add Menu Item again, then type in ‘Refund Policy’ as the menu name. Then for the link, select ‘Pages’, then ‘Refund Policy’. When you’ve done this, click Add.

10. Click Add Menu Item again, then type in ‘Privacy Policy’ as the menu name. Then for the link, select ‘Policies’, then ‘Privacy Policy’. When you’ve done this, click Add.

11. Click Add Menu Item again, but this time type in ‘Terms of Service’ as the menu name. Then for the link, select ‘Policies’, then ‘Terms of Service’. When you’ve done this, click Add.

12. Then click Save Menu.

13. Go back to the main Navigation Setting menu.

14. Under the title drop-down menu, select Main Menu.

15. On the next page, click the Edit button next to Catalog.

16. Change name from ‘Catalog’ to ‘Products’, then set the link to ‘All Products’. Then click ‘Apply Changes’.

17. Click Add Menu Item and type in the name of one of your product collections.

18. Click the link box and select ‘Collections’.

19. Scroll through your collections and select the one you’ve chosen, then click Add.

20. Next, drag your chosen collection under the Products menu.

Click the Add Menu Item to Products button. And for the link, select ‘Collections’, then add in another product collection to the list by clicking ‘Add’.

21. Now, we’ll add a Contact Us page. Select Add Menu Item, name the menu ‘Contact Us’, select ‘Pages’, and link to the contact us page you created in the earlier steps of this module. Click ‘Add’.

22. And lastly, we’ll add an about us page. Select Add Menu Item, name the menu ‘About Us’, and click on ‘Pages’ and link to the about us page you created in the earlier steps of this module. Click ‘Add’.

23. Finish off by saving what you’ve done.
