Now, in this video, I’m going to teach you how to add a Shopify Live Chat App. We’re going to use Tidio. There is a premium plan that utilizes messenger bot but we don’t need that feature so that free plan is perfect for us. I’m also going to show you how to turn on email notifications so that when a customer sends you a message, you’ll get a notification so that you can come and answer the message.

Let’s start!

Go to the Shopify App Store page and look for Tidio. Click on Add app.

Once the page loads, click on Install app button. Wait for the page to load as it may take a while for Shopify to load.

Now you’re on the app page, enter your name on the name box. You can also upload your photo or your store’s logo. Once. you’ve done that click Continue.

On the next page, fill out the account information details. Make sure that you include your email address so that you’ll receive notifications when customers send you a message. For the company size, just select, ‘It’s just me.’ And for ‘What describes you best, you can select ‘Other’.” Then click the box to agree to Tidio’s terms and conditions. Once done. click ‘Continue’.

Then on the next page, click “Just greet them warmly” box. On the right, add a custom welcome message. Save message then once done, click Continue.

When the page loads, you’ll see a pop up like this. Input the password that you would like to use on the popup box. Then click on Change Password.

On the sidebar, click Settings.

Then, click on the Notification button. Next, click on Enable and then click on Save.

And now you’re set! Now, I’m going to show you where to read and reply to messages. On the sidebar, click on Conversations. 

Now, you’ll be taken to the notifications page where you can see and reply to messages. And that’s it!
